From Van Branding to Mural Art: A CEEW Success Story

The Council on Energy, Environment and Water is one of Asia’s leading not-for-profit policy research institutions. CEEW uses data, integrated analysis, and strategic outreach to explain – and change – the use, reuse, and misuse of resources.

Recently, we had the opportunity to partner with the Council on Energy, Environment and Water (CEEW) to support their initiative ‘सौरसमृध्द उत्तराखण्ड’ (Solar Rich Uttarakhand). This project, in collaboration with the Ministry of New and Renewable Energy, aims to promote solar energy solutions across Uttarakhand over a 100-day period. Our role involved executing comprehensive van branding to enhance visibility and engagement for this vital initiative.

The ‘Solar Rich Uttarakhand’ initiative seeks to raise awareness about the benefits of solar energy and encourage its adoption among local communities. To effectively communicate this message, we undertook a thorough van branding project. Our objective was to create a visually striking mobile platform that would travel across various locations in Uttarakhand, engaging residents and stakeholders in meaningful discussions about solar energy.

We completed the branding process in just four days, showcasing our efficiency and commitment to delivering high-quality work within tight timelines. Our design team collaborated closely with CEEW and the Ministry to ensure that the visuals accurately reflected the initiative's goals. The final design featured vibrant graphics, compelling imagery, and clear messaging that highlighted the sustainability, cost-effectiveness, and energy independence associated with solar energy.

Mural Wall Art Project

In addition to our work on the ‘Solar Rich Uttarakhand’ initiative, we successfully completed a separate project involving mural wall art at the UPCL building in Uttarakhand. This project aimed to beautify the space while also promoting awareness of renewable energy and sustainability. The mural was designed to be visually striking and thought-provoking, serving as a constant reminder of the importance of transitioning to renewable energy sources.

The mural art project allowed us to engage with local artists and the community, fostering a sense of pride and ownership over the message of sustainability. It has become a landmark in the area, attracting attention and sparking conversations about the role of renewable energy in the region's future.

Conclusion

Our collaboration with CEEW and the Ministry of New and Renewable Energy in launching the ‘सौरसमृध्द उत्तराखण्ड’ initiative through van branding has proven to be an effective strategy for promoting solar energy in Uttarakhand. Additionally, our mural wall art project at the UPCL building further demonstrates our commitment to community engagement and creative expression. At Rishiraj Media, our expertise in branding and outreach has played a crucial role in raising awareness and fostering community involvement around renewable energy solutions. As these initiatives continue, we are confident they will make a lasting impact on the energy landscape of Uttarakhand, paving the way for a more sustainable future.
