From design to engagement: Showcasing creativity and strategy at BSX 2024

The 8th edition of BSX 2024, which was organized in association with ISRO, Indian National Space Promotion, and Authorisation Centre (IN-SPACe) and NewSpace India Limited (NSIL), started in September 2024 at BIEC in Bengaluru, India.

The Bengaluru Space Expo 2024 served as a premier platform for industry leaders, innovators, and enthusiasts to gather, exchange ideas, and explore the most recent advancements in space technology. The cutting-edge technologies and capabilities driving the future of space exploration were showcased at BSX 2024, with an exciting line-up of exhibits, workshops, and networking opportunities.

Our company was entrusted by our trusted partner, CII, to handle the end-to-end designing and event marketing for a prestigious event in the space sector. Our design team embarked on an extensive research and design process to create a theme design that perfectly encapsulated the essence of the event.

After exploring various options, we finalized a main theme design that would be used across all marketing materials. We then created a range of materials, including event brochures and flyers, standees, invite cards, web banners, digital backdrops, lanyards, and badges. These materials were designed to create a consistent visual identity for the event and to engage attendees and sponsors.

Our event marketing team, Rishiraj Tech Solutions, was responsible for promoting the event through social media and other channels.

We created dedicated LinkedIn and Twitter pages for the event and developed a content strategy to raise awareness and attract attendees. Through rigorous posting, we gained 2,000+ organic followers within two months and created 80 posts related to event awareness, as well as 14 videos, including two promotional videos and 12 interview videos.

Our efforts resulted in significant engagement, with 63,396 organic impressions, 1,553 ad impressions, 45+ reposts, and 23,000 organic clicks. Moreover, we attracted many sponsors from around the globe, making the event a resounding success.

Conclusion

Our event marketing and design efforts for the space sector event were highly successful, with a significant increase in engagement and attendance. The creation of a unique theme design and consistent visual identity helped to attract attendees and sponsors, while our social media promotion strategy resulted in a large following and high engagement metrics. The event demonstrated the importance of a well-planned event marketing strategy in achieving event objectives.
