Ease of Doing Business

  • Time bound single-window clearance through the portal that allows single application, payment, tracking and monitoring eliminating the need for physical touch points with the Government offices
  • Mobile application and investor helpline for supporting and facilitating investors
  • Self-certification scheme with a Single Integrated Return Form for implementation of sixteen Labour Laws in the State
  • Shortened the time limit for processing consent application by Pollution Control Department from 120 days to 60 days
  • To tackle the land issue, higher Floor to Area Ratio has been allowed on agricultural land converted for industrial use and powers for zone conversion have been delegated downward 

Policy Incentives Download Policy

  • To support the Micro & Small Enterprises - Cluster Development Programme (MSE-CDP), being implemented in backward areas of Maharashtra, in addition to the central funding a subsidy of 10 per cent of the project cost is being offered 
  • New as well as existing units that are undertaking expansion/ diversification (including Mega and Ultra Mega Projects) in upcoming industrial areas, No Industry Districts and Naxalism affected areas have been exempt from payment of stamp duty payable during the investment period 
  • In highly industrialised areas, stamp duty exemption of 50 per cent is granted on the first conveyance deed
  • All eligible New Units in the upcoming industrial areas and No-Industry District(s) and Naxalism affected areas are exempted from payment of Electricity Duty up to a maximum of 15 years from the date of commencement
  • The State Government reimburses 50 per centof the rent up to a maximum of INR 1 lakh per year
  • A subsidy of 5 per cent, subject to a maximum of INR 25 lakhs,  is granted on capital equipment purchased for technology upgradation
  • A subsidy of 25 per cent upto a maximum of INR 5 lakhs, is available on capital equipment for measures towards clean manufacturing
